This cost effective package includes everything you need to have a fully functioning Sandblaster.
This package does not include any Personal Protective Equipment or spare consumables.
Items included in this custom package are:
Blast Machine
Clemco Classic Blast Machine Model 1028 with TLR-50 Remote Controls
The 0.5 cuft classic blast machine holds ½ cubic foot (approximately 50 lbs.) of abrasive blast media. This small, one-man portable blast machine has ½” piping and comes with a remote control system. This high-performance and versatile blast machine is an economic way to remove contamination, corrosion, mill scale, and coatings from most surfaces. Using a No. 3 (3.16-inch) blast nozzle will provide approximately 15 minutes of productive blasting at 80 psi.
Remote Controls
Included with this blast pot is the TLR-50 remote control system. This pressure-release style control system provides the operator start/stop control at the nozzle and allows the blast machine to depressurize for refilling when the control handle is released.
Note: If you are purchasing a blast pot separate from other accessories and materials necessary for blasting, keep in mind the compatibility of parts and the machine.
2 Braid Blast Hose
This Clemco 2-braid blast hose has a ½” inner diameter (ID) and 1-3/16” outer diameter (OD). This hose is rated at up to 175 psi working pressure and can be used with all common abrasive blast media. This ½” hose is available in 2 sizes: either 25’ or 50’ lengths. Longer hose length can be achieved using any properly sized couplings. The 2-braid blast hose package contains aluminum holders and couplings specific to this hose and is available in two sizes: 16' or 25' lengths. 2 Braid hoses have a thicker, more durable outer casing than supa hose yet are more flexible than 4-ply. This hose is ideal for industrial settings where maintenance-stress and abrasions are common.
CT-4 Nozzle (1/4" Orifice)
These CT-Nozzles have 3/4” mounting thread with a 1/2” entry and durable metal jacket with straight, barrel-shaped nozzles. The operator holds the nozzle 3 to 6 inches from the surface and moves it smoothly at a rate that produces the desired cleanliness. Each pass should overlap slightly. They have an expected life of approximately 300 hours and are for Model 1028 (0.5 cu.ft) and Model 1042 (1.0 cu.ft) blast machines, Pool Pal, pressure cabinets, SG-300 suction gun, and Super Comet.
These nozzles are lined with durable tungsten carbide and are for hoses with a 1/2” ID. A hose with a 1/2” ID requires a 1/2” entry nozzle paired with a nozzle holder to accommodate the 1 3/16” OD of the hose. Your purchase of this nozzle includes an NW-1 Washer.
This package does not include any Personal Protective Equipment or spare consumables.
