The Clemco Comfort Vest with Clem Cool Air Conditioner, (CCAC), is designed for immediate cooling of the blast machine operator. Simply attach the Clemco Clem-Cool Air Conditioner to the vest air supply tubing and hook up to your air supply line. Making adjustments to the air volume and degree of cooling is easy: simply adjust the knob on top of the air control valve located on the operators belt, even with a gloved hand. The Clemco Clem-Cool Air Conditioner can cool incoming air up to 50 degrees F*.
Requirements for operation are a minimum of 20 CFM of Grade D Air quality since the vest is worn under the blast suit and exits beneath the respirator cape. The vest air supply is separate from the breathing air supply and will require a separate Comfort Vest Connection Kit which can be found under the Related Parts tab above.
The vest fits chest sizes up to approximately 52 inches. A snug fit offers greatest comfort.
