Tungsten Carbide

With blast nozzles, it is the composition of the liner material that determines its resistance to wear. Tungsten carbide is one of the most commonly used materials because it offers the best value when compared to other materials. Nozzles made form tungsten carbide are among the most rugged and durable and work well with most abrasives. Due to their wear-resistance and impact resistance, tungsten carbide nozzles are best used in harsh work site conditions.

A nozzle may last approximately 300 hours when using expendable abrasives.

Short Straight Barrel (CT, CJD) nozzles and Long Venturi (CSD, TXD, SDX, CXD)have an all metal jacket made from aluminum.

Long-venturi (TSP, TMP, TXP) and short-venturi (TJP, TYP) blast nozzles have a durable jacket made from natural rubber.

The short barrelled Cam Series nozzles feature a 45 degree angled nozzle outlet with a metal jacket made from aluminum.
